Republic Day Celebrations at Divya Shanthi – January 26 2011
The mark of the 62nd year of India becoming a republic nation has enlightened our people with the ideologies of justice and equality. We have witnessed a steady and fast growth in India’s economy worldwide and we have also been a nation which maintains harmony, peace and brotherhood among all people.
The Republic Day celebration was conducted by Divya Shanthi Christian Association and Trust and Divya Shanthi High School on the 26th of January 2011 at 9:00 a.m. Mrs. Renuka Reddy, Director of the Central Board of Film Certification and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The programme was conducted in a befitting manner which commenced with a March Past by the high school students, followed by the school band. The salute was taken by the Chief Guest. A colourful display in the form of a mass drill was performed by the middle and high school students, which was very wonderful to watch as even our Special Needs School children also performed in the drill which came out well. The high school performed a good gymnastics show for the occasion.
