COMMUNITY HEALTH

Our Community health workers provide health education and support in identifying and connecting the family in need of medical help with state and other health providers.

We run mobile clinics with a doctor and organize monthly health camps with support from State and Non-governmental organizations. We immunized children against Polio in 2007.  We run a diagnostic centre and a daily clinic in the main centre in Lingarajapuram.

A camp for Breast & Cervical cancer for women above the age of 30 was held by Divya Shanthi Christian association & Trust in collaboration with a team of Medical staff comprising of 9 Doctors, 10 nurses & 2 social workers of the Bangalore Baptist hospital.
